The name Ratchet Tracy came to me during COVID2020 . Around the time when I was having cabin fever. My break through or break out was a skit about a girl missing her side dude named Kevin because he was stuck inside with his main chick during the quarantine. The young lady’s ratchet vibes were catchy and funny and this took the internet by surprise. She would camp outside his house, knock on his door, and even put herself in his trash can in order to see him at least one time. Yes, my comedy is tied to the name and the character Ratchet Tracy. RT is the unapologetic side me (Charee) and she is ratchet to the 5th dimension. I say what people are scared to say or won’t say because of its politically incorrectness.

The machine that drives me as a comedian is knowing that I spent majority of my youth trying to impress others and be recognized for overcoming the challenges of the ghetto streets. Just to later learn that people like Donald Trump, Puff Daddy, and Lunell are their ratchet unapologetic selves and they made it. I felt like why not be yourself and forget what everyone else thinks. I quit my Career as a highly educated teacher to be a comedian. (Now I’m thinking it was a midlife crisis) At that time I realized, there will be no turning back to the classroom… so I went hard trying to become the world’s be known comedian Ratchet Tracy.

Any time Ratchet Tracy’s name is on the bill, people can expect to have the name stuck in their heads, they can expect to hear jokes that will have them laughing for weeks, and people can expect to not want the show to end any time soon. Jokes that have been said at my shows have been repeated in places like the grocery store, church, and online. When people see Ratchet Tracy after a show, they can repeat something that was said word for word. That reaction alone has taught me that my writing skills are effective and my delivery is addicting.

My favorite comedy story so far on my 6 year journey would have to be a recent incident that took place, March 5th 2026 I caught a stroke in Atlanta Georgia. Some would think this would have knocked Ratchet Tracy down or forced her to put an end to her comedy career, but it did just the opposite. Two weeks after recovering in the hospital, I was sent to rehab. On my first day of group therapy I walked in playing the song “Strokin” by Clarence Carter on my phone. The looks and laughter were priceless. They could never forget Ratchet Tracy after this.

My most memorable moment on stage is performing in front of my imaginary celebrity baby daddy TI aka TIP aka Clifford Harris. Sharing the stage with him and the room with him and the crowd with him is one memory I will cherish forever. I didn’t let him know how star struck I was when we were in the same room.. but all of my friends and family knew that I was melted butter whenever I called them screaming “I just saw my BabyDaddy today!!” Of course we all know that Ratchet Tracy is the star, but trust me he couldn’t forget her if he tried!

I have a method I use that helps me remember the order of all my jokes that I plan to deliver. On most days this method works, but on other days I let the spirit of comedy use me (freestyle) I have a saying that goes “Who-What-When-& Where” Who - is getting talked about What- happened When- does this happen in life Where- is the show being held

What would I be doing if not comedy? I would probably be babysitting my grandkids back home in Arlington Texas, teaching 8th grade Science and coaching basketball, volleyball, and cheerleading. I also would be vacationing two or three times a year and making an easy 6 figure salary. More importantly I probably wouldn’t be recovering from a stroke at the golden age of 43.

What’s next for me is a great question and before this stroke I would have had an elaborate answer about traveling the world spreading my ratchet gifts of laughter and love to heal the pain of loneliness and hatred. I don’t know now where this life of entertainment will take me. I haven’t even gone on a mega tour yet and I’m already feeling like this is as good as it’s gonna get. So what’s next for me is like some of your shows TBD…

I am looking forward to being seen on TFAI comedy TV Series. The HD graphics have me looking for some blemish free makeup. DFW is my second home and therefore it’s just a hop skip jump away.. I’m hoping to be able to hop and skip , but either way y'all have a once in a lifetime chance to engulf your Ratchetness. (I’m bowing down right now if you can see me)
